Only time spoiler retracts is if I disconnect battery
I have had an issue with my spoiler stuck in the up position for some time. First, I am clueless when you guys start with the ohm meter talk... Second, the car is not a daily driver, in fact its a semi-weekly ride (OR LESS) so I haven't been in MUST FIX it mode on this... It lives in the garage at my FLorida home, AND actually hibernates 5 months a year.
So... The spoiler goes up like it's supposed to, but never goes back down. It's not the end of the world, so I just let it stay up... Then after storing it for the summer I noticed the spoiler was retracted this fall. Again, I drove it a few times, it went up and stayed there.. The other day, after it had been sitting a couple weeks I went to use it and the battery was too low to start it, and I noticed that the spoiler was down again. I know when I parked it, it was up.... One other thing that may be worth mentioning, last winter I replaced the curtain on it, but I don't think that has any effect, but wanted to throw that out there.

there is a little grey box under the glove compartment. not sure about a part number, that is the controller for the wing. sounds like that might be bad. first would check or replace fuse 37 which may be weak.
