Bay Area Machine Shops
Can someone recommend a Bay Area automotive machine shop. I need to have some cylinder bores and pistons measured. I am looking to get the folowing done:
1. Bore diameter and out of roundness measurement.
2. Piston width at the correct location.
3. Top ring lash/groove measurement. I have new rings for this.
4. Cylinder to Piston Clearance.
5. Anything else I should check?
Alternatively, any fellow rennlisters that have the know-how and test equipment and be willing to show me how it is done?
I am in the East Bay/SF area.
