/\ looking good kaotik RS. Who built those wheels for ya? 16" converted to 18" barrels?

On a side note, I have E28s being redone at rotiform. I was thinking of reverse mounting the centers. I came across a thread where BBS LM's were being reversed mounted. Gives it a wider lip look. Anyway, has anyone ever reversed mounted E28s? Would you do it or leave them the way they are? Looking for different points of view. Thanks all!

Looks like its possible, but with the help of a machine shop.

LMs are easier as they have a lip and flat face. It was no problem when I reversed mine.

Here's a linky for ya...

A friend of mine built the rims. Look @ FB chromewheel.de
The barrels are from VR Motoring and we changed the faces from sandwich mounted to front mounted.

They look great Jim!

What's the finish and the inspiration for the graphics?

Very cool! Definitely need those Miami vice side decals now. Yes tell us about the finish - the stripes are decals/ painted/ anodised?

Have you found out the offsets for us?!

Thanks Guys. The gray is a close approximation of what I was looking for. Apparently with their powdercoat its all numbers and not names. Theme is miami vice, and the vinyl is finalized too so pics or the full car to come. Inspiration was actually another members photoshop thread ( wish i could remember who as to credit them), and the colors came from rubystone and mexico blue as a nod to porsche. No idea on the calculated offset yet, but I'll find out monday when they are installed.

That is totally lush.

I usually hate slammed cars; you have won me (albeit temporarily)
