Default Colour Crest Centre Caps

I would like to get a set of colour crest caps for my Cup 1 wheels (I understand part no. 993.361.303.10 are the correct ones?).

You can pay anything from about $25USD on eBay and to close to $60USD (for OEM) from some Porsche aftermarket parts shops. I am always dubious about those available on eBay and I’m not interested in paying parts shop prices (one wants $57USD each for plastic items).

Has anyone bought some recently that they are happy with and that were a reasonable price? Are the plastic versions susceptible to melting/warping from excessive heat?

I have color centers. They are a 928 part number. Are plastic ones the same as metal? No, IMHO. I think the metal ones look better.

I've had some plastic ones on for about 3 years, no problems with melting/warping nor discolouring.

I bought the metal ones and I am pleased with the results. I found them on Pelican parts.

The caps that would have been an option for the car when new are the 928 numbered ones, the 993 ones wouldnt have been out!

Available here too;

Even in the metal ones there is a variation: the ones on my car (and they came with it standard in 1993) have a circular groove around the crest about .5 cm from the outer edge.

I'm not a fan of it, but since it was part of the "30 Jahre" special edition equipment I left them on.

I prefer the ones Rocket Rob displayed much better... way cleaner of a look.
