Frank, what do you think would be a complimentary set of shocks to go with these ?

Bilstein HD's every day of the week.

H&R reds (now purple) with Bilstein HDs are a killer combo - many advocates here.

Ok I'm going for the HDs. Still no car on the road yet but the upgrade parts list is growing. I love this forum. So many people have been through the pain already and so I can be a sheep and follow with some sound and solid recommendations. Cool

Thanks

Guys forgive the ignorance here, but I just phoned Design911.com to get a set of Bilstein HDs and the guys didn't know what they were. He had B6 and B16 and other numbers sbut not HDs. I checked on Carnewal.com and they had some but they're in Belgium. Not really a problem but I always prefer to buy within the UK if possible. Can someone point me in the direction of a supplier. My internet searches have not been successful in finding one.

Ta

B6 =HD

Get them from Gert at Carnewal, good service and cheaper

The two H&R spring options are "sport" which used to be green, and the stiffer "turbo" which were/are red. Still referred to as greens and reds.

I got the number off one of the websites. Difinately H&R reds and fit all c2/c4 from 1989-1993.
Sorry for mix up.

Would definately suggest Bilstein B6 (HDs) and probably want to change the oil lines. I have those up for sale as well so a bit of shameless promotion but hopefully one of the guys will let you know I am right. Not essential but it was recommended to me.

Thanks
Tom

Change the oil lines? Which ones / How come?

Or do you mean the brake lines that connect through the tab on the shocks?
