Default A short Claudia race video - Warts and all

Our 2d to last race of the season. This is the six lap quali for the local biggie. It's fun racing other marks, including the big mean NASCAR things - I had the white one on my bumper the whole time....I still let them get to me.

Fun waggle at speed in T1 on the last lap.

Cheers,

Kai - Great video. Thanks for sharing. It looked like the car you were following early in the race was smoking and had a movable spoiler. Was it smoking or was that just my imagination? I didn't know that any racing groups allowed movable aerodynamic devices.

He was locking up his tires. He runs full slicks and it was cold - they're a bit loose until they warm.

His "moveable aero" is the NSX rear engind lid! It got loose somehow... The NSX is fast, fast, but I can beat him every time. The 650hp NASCAR thing scares me....

Nice going Kai! Nice start. So, how'd you finish in the race?

Anyway, that's the first NSX that I've ever seen fitted with DRS.

Thanks Kai, I really enjoyed watching that. The old girl goes and sounds fantastic.

As for the NSX....at first I thought it was some fancy sort of air brake!

Or one of my favourite cars, the 1955 Mercedes Benz 300 SLR.

Nice driving - you seemed to reel in that go-kart at 7:11 pretty fast.

Track looks rough though.

On that cold weekend, we were running 22.4s. I suspect we'll be in the low 21s by spring.

Kai...great stuff! Question...how are you able to shift so fast without hurting anything? I would love to be able to do that with mine! Cheers!
