Decisions Decisions
I bought my 964 Cab in May. I absolutely LOVE driving it every single time I get in the car. The car still sounds, handles, and feels like new. I also have a '65 F250 that I've restored as a driver and my wife has an '11 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland (HEMI).
I got a new job about a month after getting the 964 which I bought as a daily driver, but I do drive the '65 (10mpg) 1 or 2 days a week when it's not too hot (no A/C). The 964 is a joy to drive but my 12 mile local commute turned into a 24 mile (each way) highway/downtown commute. I've been feeling lately that I'd really rather be driving a more comfortable car for the majority of my driving each week.
Over the next month, I'm going to perform the valve adjustment, transmission service, oil change, and replace a leaking oil line (filter to thermo) as well as some of the less expensive non pressure oil lines. After I complete the servicing, I'll make the decision to keep or sell the car. I would be extremely sad to see it go, but then again I can always get another one down the road.

I always worry and think there are few good cars out there. You're probably right, you can easily get another one.
At least you are doing the right thing and making sure it's in top shape...if you sell.
