Glad you're okay but sorry about the car. Good luck on the repair.

dammit... the corner of the floor pan is pinched/wrinkled. Looks like the impact point was on that jack point corner. Pics later when I can get it up off the floor a bit.

Just prior to your last post, I was going to comment that I thought all was OK - judging by the gaps on the hood-fender lines. These cars are really tight fitting and difficult to fit in those areas if they get tweaked (according to the expert doing the work on my bent C4). Find a shop with a guy who knows his way around the frame rack and has the right database for measurements. He will know fairly quickly if anything is tweaked. My car was spot-on (<1mm) all over the car, except in the left corner that was hit. And he now has it all back to <1mm, everywhere. Good luck. You will be back in the saddle in no time.

It will have to be someone who does Porsches there are only 1 or 2 frame racks a P car fits on proper

Dont worry about it, ive seen cars with a lot more damage come back right.

I destroyed a wall a couple of years ago, looks fine now.

car is going to a local shop today for an estimate. I know the front left quarter is toast, and so is the front bumper. The driver's side rockers need to be replaced, too. So, given the front end issues, what would you look at for mods/cosmetic enhancements that I might be able to do along with the repaint?

And speaking of repaint, I'm not sure how extensive the paint will be, but how much would it concern you to have the entire left side repainted and pristine finish, but not have the rest of the car in the same condition? It's like working in the office with only one leg of your pants on, for me anyway.

Another thing to consider, is one stage vs two stage paints. When my cab was rear ended 10 years ago, the body shop I went to used Glassurit paint but the single stage paint was no longer available. The new paint matched perfectly but over the years, the repaired panels look better than the originals (Guards Pink vs Guards Red).

I think that a good body shop will be able to match all colours with a good machine detail.

As for enhancements, brake ducts? Remove wing indicators? Splitter? Roll the arches for further clearance? Renew seals?

RWB! Just kidding...

I like your spirit, already thinking about mods.

with the front bumper off, maybe the bonnet seal, and for sure the fender seal, as well as rocker seals on the driver side.

I'm just concerned that detailing the 20 yr old paint may leave me VERY thin in spots.

ok- so the jack point assembly is crushed, and just the very corner of the floor pan is wrinkled.
