Go to the second pic in my post above, this is a picture of the 2 coil packs were the old distributors were.
I am running twin - 6 plug coil packs driven by a new ECU. A picture of the ECU is just to the right, it is mounted behind the drivers seat. You can't see the plug wires because they are on the back side of the coil packs. I put the coil packs in this location so I could use the stock wiring.
I used an old distributor base shaft and welded an aluminum plate and then made the coil pack mounting hardware to fit on that. Hope that helps
