*PRICE REDUCTION*
Rennlisters,
I'm selling my winter wheels from my '06 C2S Cab. I purchased these in Fall 2011 from a fellow Rennlister, and used them for one winter. They worked really well and met all expectations. I finally decided to purchase the Carrera IIIs that I originally wanted, so these now need to go.
Wheels: 18" Mille Miglia Cup IIIs (purchased from Tire Rack, and “Made in Italy”)
Front Size: 18x8 ET52
Rear Size: 18x10 ET47
Front Weight: 29lbs
Rear Weight: 33lbs
Center Caps NOT included
Condition (Wheels): Very good condition. A few small scratches upon close inspection, but nothing major.
Fits: 997.1, 996, 993, 964
Price: $550 for wheels + Shipping
Pictures below. Shipping via FedEx home to most of the US will be less than $200 for all 4 wheels. These wheel are packed up and ready to go!
Please let me know if you have any questions.
-Blake

Fitment was fine, though some recommended that I run spacers. My camber was factory spec - I have that reset every year for street driving...
Picture from last winter after driving through a blizzard from Colorado back to Utah.... You can see how the wheels tuck into the wheel-wells on 997.1....

Many of the M3 crowd run 285/35s on their 18" wheels that are 10" wide. I'd think a 285-30 would work fine.
Anytime I have a tire fitment question, I just call Tire Rack and ask those guys.
Thanks.

I'll call Damon at Tire Rack and ask him about fitment on your 964 C2. I'll post his response.
Also conducted a search on Rennlist, and came up with this 964 thread called "Max Wheel/Tyre size for C2":

"In front you can't go wider w/ the wheels but a 245/40 x17 tire can be fitted if you go through some extra steps in setup. In back the 9.5 ET47 w/ 265/40 fits pretty well 275/40 can be fitted on that wheel or a 10 w/ some extra care in setup... in 18 the same width and ET are used but the tires would be 225/40 or 235/40 front and 265/35 or 285/30 in back"

"Most people in Oz tracking 964's now run an 18" rim as it is cheaper here to get 18" track tyres now than 17". 18's usually run a 225 up front and a 265 rear with no issue. ET52 fr, 47 Rear..... 235's up front often rub on the inside of the guard on lock, especially if you are running big camber settings. And the rear issue is also the oil lines rubbing."
Thx
