Default Help with starting issue

I'm brand new to the Porsche scene. I just became the owner of a 91' 964 cab. I took it out for a quick spin this am, approx 20 min. Pulled into driveway, car is running perfect, and turn it off. I get my wife to go out for another longer spin. All in all the car sat for 15 min. When I go to restart, it turns over. All lights work. Battery is turning over the car fine (until I drain it). I turned the thing over and over without a single hint of starting. I pushed it in the garage and let it sit for 2 hrs. I went out to try and restart and the car starts instantly.

Any ideas as to what it could be?
Any common Porsche issues that a more seasoned owner knows to look at first?
Do these cars have vapor lock issues? A fuel filter perhaps?

Thanks for any help

First thing to check/replace is the DME relay in the front trunk fuse box. Welcome, by the way- Pictures of your car are mandatory!

No such device on an EFI car (which our 964's are unlike the 965 in your avatar).

I found that I experienced hard starting on a hot engine when my DME Adaptation value was off. There is a thread here that discusses the DME Adaptation using the Scantool.

Cheers!

Thank you for the input. I'll look into these suggestions. I'm very excited to learn about this car! I just ordered a reference Manuel which should help with some of my basic knowledge gaps!

I'll upload some pics hopefully soon

Thnx again
