Sport Seats?

The 996 ones will also fit without much trouble. The nice thing about the 996 seats besides the price is the stitching almost matches the 964.
Here is a nice set for $1300:

Thanks. The door cards are from Bob at Appbiz. They have full SC stitching he calls it. Handles were put on at an angle to match the stitching. They fall very nicely to hand, are rock solid and I don't have a problem closing the door.

The quality is excellent, as is the stitching. Bob is very helpful and answered all my questions via email. The only downside of the whole thing was getting stung by UK customs.

Your best bet IMO is to find a car with the 964 sports seats. They're better than 993, 996, and 997 seats. I had them in my 964, now have a 996T with comfort seats, have sat in 996 sports, and 3 variants of 997 seats. 964 sports beat them all for comfort , and support.

For having tried all of them, in my opinion:
964 sport seats: best at holding you in, exceedingly confortable.
993 hardback sportseats: hold you not as good as 964 sportseats, not quite as confortable (the shoulder pads can get annoying), look a million bucks
996 hardback sportseats: hold you less than the 993 hardback seats, less bolsters, seat feels "smaller" in every dimension. I for one don't fit in them (186cm, 90Kgs)
Hors Categorie seats:
-964 RS buckets: very stiff, very confy, harder to get into/out of, unobtainable, or settle for the Pole Posistions which frankly are the same except for the purists.
-Recaro A8: the Holy grail. Light, confy, best looks by far, but almost impossible to fit in a 964 or 993 unless you are under 180cm tall, or can accept compromises by raising the seat (not acceptable to me).
For a daily driver, or a leisure car not driven on the track, your money is best spent on the 964 sport seats. They are the same as every 911, 944, 968 sport seat, starting 1986.
