A Plug for Fikse Wheels
I'm having wheel trouble and am now down to one mis-matched set. (of three sets, 1 set Fikse FM-5s and two sets brand X)
Just the other day I found that I had bent the crap out of one of my rear Fikses (please don't ask me how). We have an important race looming right at the horizon, and I was very concerned that we'd have no shoes.
Alan at Fikse has come through! They can mill, and then build up a replacement (non-standard size) and get it to me two days ahead of my drop dead date.
This kind of customer service is rare these days and I really (really) appreciate the fact that Alan was available to me on his cell, mobile email and then through the company ordering process.
