Default New to me...964

Hi guys,

I'm finally back in a 911... I come from owning the ultimate 993. My Ruf Turbo R. That said, I'm really loving my 964 C4. It understeers heavily, but I love the gearing!

Here she is... My daughter named it "White Saber." :-D

Hello and welcome.... You can tune out the understeer in a C4.... Where did you find her?

Laker, found her in someone's garage... just sitting there, unloved... Getting understeer tuned will be in my to do list.

Abarthguy, thank you! Took her there once already! :-) Just say when you're going up next time... would love to meet some 964 rennlisters!

when you look at the ride height, it obviously not set-up for any sort of performance handling.

the understeer is easy to dial-out ... with 450lb and 600lb springs and just under RS height, the C4 was perfect for long 4 wheel slides ... pretty neutral.

Congratulations! Looks like a great car. Do you plan on using it as a street/daily driver or will you be doing any competitive driving?

sml, yeah, it's totally stock except for someone drilling the airbox, so I'm interested to see how she will handle in the future. I also put on some Cup II wheels... the D90's I think make the car even "flatter" looking...

Rob, I'm only going to use her as an extra street car. I don't do any competitive driving other than an occasional autox.

Lol! It's a little fun with my 6 year old daughter. She's half-korean, it's her name in Korean. After all , it's her car. ;-)
