Are you worried about water entering the engine bay?

Us a quality car soap. Adam's is very good. Does the paint need correction? Just a sealant/wax? I like RejeX wax. Any rubber/vinyl black trim? I like Aerospace 303 for that.

exactly on water entering the engine bay...I know they are resiliant in that respect but I would rather wipe down the engine bay versus sudsing it up. will look into the adams also. Aero 303...does that have silicone in it to restore black in rubber or trim?

No silicone in 303. If you need to restore the black, look into Black WOW and search the Concours section for other options.
