Goughary's pricing advice is pretty accurate I'd say.
Cabs will likely always be cheaper than coupes in the 911 world. The cars attract a more track-oriented buyer and the classic 911 shape is somewhat altered with a cab. That said, I love my cab and wouldn't trade!
Also, I would neither add nor subtract for C2 vs C4.
I would absolutely have a shop take care of the top alignment. It shouldn't take more than an hour of labor. With the sensitivity of the cabrio mechanism, I would wonder if the seller was trying to hide bigger issues by not taking care of such a simple repair. It would be enough for me not to even consider the car. Analogous to "runs great, just needs a new battery so it can start"...
