There is a blower interior sensor at the rear of the A/C & heater assembly. Mine has been staying on when the car has been switched off, this in turn has been flattening the battery. ![Mad](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/mad.gif)
Does anyone know what this blower does. Will it cause any damage to the A/C & heater assembly if it is unplugged?

No damage if you remove the small fan, but your A/C won't hold a steady temp.
go here for info on how to fix>>>>

thanks mojorizing for the reply. Two very helpful pieces of information.
Maybe the fan is shutting off after 10-20min. I just haven't noticed it before.
I might give it a grease and check if to see if it is turning off.

It's normal for the fan to stay on 20mins after engine is switched off.
In answer to your original question about what it does - I believe it blows air over the interior temp sensor - hence allows the unit to sense the ambient for your climate control.

Cup 2 wheels
Fab Speed cup airbox
CF heater bypass
G pipe
Looking at changing the steering wheel, but haven't made up my mind. Either the RS 3 Spoke or the 996 GT3 Cup Wheel.
Will also fit some 993 mirrors. tossing up weather to keep them electric of change to manual?
Will get some photos up soon
