I'm Sick and Need Help!!
My dear friends,
I seem to have caught the bug, I'm sure many of you know what I'm talking about. I've got Porsche fever and I don't know what to do.
Symptoms:
1)Spending hours/ day looking at Porsche's online
2)Buying parts for your Porsche that you really don't need
3)Finding ways to convince yourself that you really do need that new Porsche, and it will solve all your problems. "All I need is one more, then I'll be happy" a saying my wife has become very familiar with.
What is going to happen to me? Will I survive this... will my marriage survive this!!
I love my Porsche!!
Anyway, I just purchased my first pcar a few months ago. An '89 C4 - guards red. I'm in the process of convincing my wife that the Cayenne GTS is exactly what she needs. Anyone else have the GTS, how do you like it?

I have driven a Cayenne not a GTS though. They are awesome SUVs, or should say awesome for a SUV. The early ones do have issues and there is almost no resale value on them new. Be prepared to loose your *** on a new one.
The problem was the factory robots pull the wire harness a little too hard and they have strand seperation causing all kinds of electrical jins. You are kind of okay after 2006 when they figured out why there were so many electrical probs. It was so bad on some there was even some factory by-backs.

S-Man - just give up and accept the inevitable, resistance is futile.
In the few moments that you are not drooling over P-Car things or not actually buying things - the time is best spent thinking up an artillary of justifications of why you need to have these things, just for future use you see - so that you are prepared to save your marriage when you need to.
Oh - and by the way - this is one of those sicknesses that is only described as such by those that do not understand it. Darwin was deemed to be sick by most of the world for the longest time until everyone was more enlightened - hold on to that thought and dump the meds is what I say.
And by the way I have a good collection of spare parts should you be interested

Think that most folks on this sight suffer from the same disease - probably some worse than other s -
Think that a few other symptoms could be added
Symptoms:
1. Spending hours/ day looking at Porsche's online or on Rennlist
2. Buying parts for your Porsche that you really don't need.
3. Have a back log of parts to install in or on your Porsche.
4. Dreaming about how good your Porsche will look once you finish fixing it up.
5. Have a garage full of parts you have taken off your Porsche because something tells you it is immoral to throw them away.
6. Finding ways to convince yourself that you really do need that new Porsche, and it will solve all your problems. "All I need is one more, then I'll be happy" a saying my wife has become very familiar with.
Others????????????
