Default C4 Climate non-control

I bought it at 197K for parts in October, now at 207K, and its way too nice to drive to part out. A/C even blew cool. The whole dash unit went dead, and I don't seem to see any related fuses or relays. Both this car and my (A/C equiped) RSA have no 7.5 amp fuses in the "heater control" slots.

What is next to check?

Thanks

I don't have my car with me today but I seem to remember that fuse #1 is critical to the CCU function.

I'm home. Definitely check fuse #1 "blower inside compartment". Its a 25 amp fuse.

Default light on the subject

I was looking at the cover, and all the fuses were it a straight line. When I could see the little black numbers next to the fuses, it made much more sense.

Yeah # 1 is the heater blower, #17 is the heater control 7.5. AMP, and in fact both cars have that one when I correctly identify #17. There were a couple more that could have been related, but all the fuses are fine.

I'm hoping that it still might be something easy, but doesn't look like it's going to be fuse easy.

Default Update

There must have been some corrosion at the fuse box. Everything started working again, and all I did was pull the fuses for checking. I'll take it!

Great news... also as a note, I've discovered that you can't count on a visual check of fuses... they can still fail but look okay. So use a meter.
