Default Tail Light Tint

I would like to thank Gus for his great kit with detailed instructions. Here are some photos of before and after. I only drank one beer as recommended by the instructions. A heat gun on low heat really helps the corners fit.

That looks great. Definitely on my near-term to-do list.

If you don't mind, could you get a more angled shot of the rear with better lighting? I like the distance of the last shot. It's just too dark. I just wanted to see what it looked like from more of a distance because everything I see is shot up close and it's hard for me to tell what it looks like in reality, at a distance.

Thanks!

How long did it take you to do this?

I will try to get some more shots this week. A Rennlister made the kit, there is a thread about it. It took about an hour and a half to do it. The kit is $55 and makes my tail lights look brand new. All three lights are about $1200 if you buy them new. The kit comes with everything you need.

Great job Chris - really does Gus's kit justice. Will give your choice of beer a pass mark too...

I also recently installed red film over tail lights using Gus' tail light kit. Very nice result (should have washed the car after installing, the after pics show a lot of dust on the paint). Follow Gus' advice and as Chris notes work slow and wait for a warm day or use a hair dryer.

Did mine two weeks ago, looks so much better, and what a great little kit Gus puts together so the install is effortless.

Also put Gus' kit on my tail lights, easy project and made a huge difference.
