Hello,

my solution is, that I put a bent nail in.
No more noise.

Interesting that your spline was the issue, it’s more commonly the U joint. That spline is supposed to collapse, but I doubt the nail will interfere. Here’s a quick video of my “tunk”. Hoping to get it sorted with a new U joint.

Exactly the same noise I had and old bent nail fix it.

Thrifty solution, nicely done Sir. Not certain I want that nail out on the track, but for daily driving, perhaps.
