Default New Wheels, now what spacers?

I just picked up a set of 17" Cup 1s for a pretty good price. They'll need refinishing but they also included some PS2s that are in decent shape. I plan on putting these on my '93 C2. Unfortunately, I think I'll need spacers for the fronts but I'm not sure about the rears?

Here are the wheels part numbers, sizes, and offsets:

Fronts: 965.362.124.05, 7.5J, ET65
Rears: 965.362.128.00, 9, ET55
  • What size spacers will I need for the fronts?
  • What size studs will I need to accommodate the new spacers?
  • Any recommendations on where to buy these items?
  • What does the "J" stand for in the width of the Fronts?
  • Will I need spacers for the rears?

Any help answering these questions would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,

Hal

The correct offset for the front is ET55, so a 10mm spacer. Most people space out 6-7mm which brings the overall spacer to 16 or 17mm. You will need longer studs as well. Standard stud length is 45mm, so the stud length you need is 45+spacer width.

If it were me I'd sell the fronts and either find 8J x ET52 (slightly rare and expensive) or find some 7.5, ET55. With either of these two options there are no shenanigans with studs.
