late offset 951 wheels fit 964?
Looking to buy a set of used Kinesis wheels and the guy is assuring me that they will fit on my narrow body 964. They are currently on a later 951 and he isn't sure of the offsets. I don't feel like making an expensive mistake. Will they fit?

The seller really needs to get the offset of his wheels if he's serious about selling. With that said, the 924/44/68 forum is your friend. Do some investigating over there and either find the lazy seller or search for optimal offsets and compare to optimal 964 offsets.

IFAIK, the fronts are okay, but the rears will be inset by about 3MM. I run a set of 951 rims for my 16" winter tires...as they are narrower overall anyway.
