Shamus, concate Steve directly about the dyno chart.
We do not want to enter the hp wars, or the this dyno is better than that dyno war or the extrapolate from a rolling road to come up with outrageous numbers war.
The engine is very healthy and exceeds everybodys wishes - it will do exactly what it was designed to do.
Bad to the bone Kai!!! I'm very happy for all involved, especially you buddy. This has been a work of passion with all parties totally committed to success. Congrats
Congratulations Kai and Steve, that sounds awesome........
Out of interest what db do you expect the install to make in the car....I ask because UK tracks are becoming very noise sensitive and that exhaust sure has me thinking....but Steve suggested it was noisy!

Thats another good question,....
I don't know about the midwestern tracks where Kai lives, but the West Coast tracks are mostly noise limited and we need to keep these under 98db with rare exception.
We will be on the track on Saturday with "Claudia" as we set up the suspension so I'll take some sound measurements for you that should be close.

Thanks, it'd be interesting to know as my B&B system has already caused me some close calls with being black flagged (on what you guys call a DE day) due to noise....so I have to learn where the meters are and short shift!!!
has it ben posted anywhere the initial hp and torque #'s that the new setup is delivering?
I think its important to understand that peak HP & Torque numbers are largely about bragging rights and high peak numbers do not win races. The most important numbers on the dyno sheet are about a thousand RPM above & below peak torque & peak power as that is what provides maximum performance. Dyno tests do not show drivability or throttle response, either and those are critical considerations for ANY engine.
