I am looking at a 964 C4 originating in Cali, I tried to do a VIN search but it came back invalid VIN # any ideas?

Make sure you're searching with the VIN's third digit as a zero and not an "O". They don't allow the letter "O" in VINs. I had this problem when I brought my car to California and tried to get insurance for it. So, WP0, not WPO! Hope that helps.

thanks, will try using zero! the car is advertised as a 91 C4 but the vin date letter is 89, i've not seen the sevice book yet but the car supposed to have one Cali owner and the present owner, only 37000 on the clock.
