Default Claudia V2.1 - Nicer Progress Pics

Steve W. was kind enough to do up a few nicer pics. A bit more detail work has been done. Soon we will also know what the engine can do. Anyway...

A nice shot of the cockpit:

Here's a nice one of the new dash:

And a closeup of one of the camberplates and the top of the MCS damper:

Default Absolutely...

Look at the amount of camber adjustment.... Fit and finish is excellent. Looking good!

Looks great - what are the hoses running along the driver's left? CoolSuit?

Is that lower dash face texture painted aluminum? Very nice.

I think you're gonna want a loudness adjustment pedal next to those other two.

They are, Marc.

I ordered the 8' extension hoses from the 986 folks - they were kind enough to suggest that they simply fab a custom length and do away with any breaks from the cooler in the trunk all the way back to me - at no extra charge!

The loud pedal must be a calibrated unit. This can't be done until the engine comes off of the dyno as we don't yet know how much JP7 will be injected after 4,500rpm!!!

tehe...

Looks Purposeful!! If you know what I mean

Having the red dash surrounding the clocks is a nice touch too. You might also want to rotate the revcounter so that the redline is near 12 O'clock to give it that 964 cup look.

Steve, the tach is just sitting loose. She gets a nice 10K Autometer unit in its place - the critical range for me will then be directly at 12 o-clock (5 to 7k rpm). A shift lamp will also go onto the top of the dash.

I typically don't spend much time looking at the tach anyway - we drive by feel as my eyes are normally shut during scary sections on track!!!!

Oh my!!!

She comes alive today and we all wait with bated breath - how much power and how flat and wonderful the torque curve will be is all a guess.

This is a relatively "mild" engine with a stock bottom end - and a few of Gamroth's new innovations, we'll see.

The boys have track time scheduled next weekend for set up, and then she comes HOME!!!
