Default Rough idle problem - ideas? (with video)

Hi guys,

I am having trouble with a rough idle. It idles fine when cold, however when hot it sounds uneven.
Here is a video showing cold and hot idle

The car never cuts out and pulls nicely under load.

I have cleaned the ISV and I have let the car sit for an hour without the DME relay. I have also let the car sit for 15min without battery.

Any ideas?

Sounds to me like the cylinder head team sensor may be faulty. If it runs well cold but not warm. Do you have access to a scantool or hammer? Are there any codes? And just to eliminate the ignition side, check your distributor cap, rotors and belt.

I had similar problems, it was the O2 sensor. They fail in strange ways, it actually tested ok but it was the cause of my probs.

As Rob suggested, get yourself access to a scantool/Hammer, pull any codes and do a system adaptation. Until that is done, everything else is merely a guess.

I just changed my O2 sensor, and the idle when hot is noticeably smoother, no more hunting, it just sits there at a steady 800rpm.
