The first Rennlist Northwest Meet and Eat
Here's something a bit different.
If there's one thing that can equal the pleasure of driving a 964, it's feasting upon some of the country's most delicious Chinese food.
Now you can do both! :-)
The inaugural Rennlist Northwest Meet and Eat will take place courtesy of a generous offer from my good friend Norm (Nski) on Sunday April 15th.
We will shape the actual format dependent upon the number of likely attendees, but the general idea will be...
Meet up somewhere convenient, not too far from Liverpool, and have a bit of a drive in the sunshine. After a while, we'll have a photoshoot at a landmark or scenic location (Liver Buildings, a local park, New Brighton... something like that).
After that, we'll head off hungrily to Norm's fabulous Chung Ku restaurant for a buffet lunch, with an anticipated knock-down price of £10 per head. The restaurant has a large, open car park where we will have a designated area. It also has incredible panoramic views across the Mersey and beyond.
Sign up here, please, even if only a potential interest, so we can estimate the numbers and do some planning.

If you think the restaurant itself is stunning, wait until you taste the food!

Thanks John for the nice comments.
Sorry to adjust the pricing slightly from the original as we felt the pricing to be slightly on the steep side, so we have decided on a sit down price of £9.90 for a 3 course including a drink or a £5.50 for 2 course with no drink. There is no pressure in having any food, you can simply have a drink and a banter with us Porsche enthusiasts.
The carpark will be closed off for Porsche members catering for 150 car plus.
Thanks see you guys soon.
Please count in so far:
Rob - Grey 964
Tommy - 964 3.3 Turbo or 993 Turbo
Anthony - 993 C2s Anniversary
Norm (Myself) - white 964
John Boggliano (Yourself) -Red 964
Rob Mug of course;-) - M3 CSL?

Get in my belly !!!! Remember Austin Powers?
Bump! Yeah count me in please, if you fancy I could give everyone a little tour of sunny Wirral but not many open roads though, but some nice little villages and thatched pubs on the way to the tunnel.I could sort meeting at opc Chester as in the rennlisters meeting my contacts there then a lap and a couple of stops for pictures around the Wirral and then head to Norm's place at his preferred time.
What do you think ? I'd give out a few sat nav locations of the stops on the route(ie pubs) and we could not loose people on the way then. I'm easy and will roll with the massive. Gaz Wirral god I feel like the geezer off coach trip.

That sounds good, Gaz.
I had just noticed the date clash myself, but then a clash with something at this time of is almost inevitable. Not set in stone yet, though...
