Hello everyone, I'm beginning my search for a 964, wondering where I might be able to find a PDF of an owners manual? I've driven a few cars now and have questions about some of the cockpit controls.

Hi Jim;

This question comes up periodically, and is never satisfactorily answered - I suspect there isn't a freebie download of the 964 Owners Manual on the web, and even if there was, linking to it in here would be against the forum guidelines due to copyright.

The good news is that the 964 cockpit is quite a spartan place, and not too hard to figure out - can you describe the specific controls that have got you beat, or post a pic?

I have an extra copy of the 1993 owner's manual exactly like the one shown in the link.
There are no tears in any page but the last 12 or so pages are wrinkled from getting wet.
I would say the condition is 7 out of 10. I'd like $50 for it plus shipping. Pictures on request.

F3: for starters, in a C4 coupe, there is a ****
in front of the gear shift that has a transaxle type drawing on it?

Also wondering what the stock 964 wheels are called. The news on the 89 and 90 cars, sort of flat dish wheel. Thx!

I believe Cup 1 came stock on the '91 Turbo and was an option for all models '92 onward.

ok, still need owners manual. I got the shop manuals from Eric, but need the straight owners manual. Looked on flea bay, didn't see anything. anyone?

Those are actually Porsche OEM wheels with correct offsets from a Boxter I think. I don't use them as I have Cup 1s on there now. They are for sale if you are interested.

I seem to recall that Fuchs are once again being made and do fit the 964. I think if you search around the forums a bit you will find a few threads on them.

Got it, I wasn't looking for someone to fork it over on here, just a lead, etc. I've been a member of a few forums, I know the rules.
