Possible sale of 964 C2
Possible sale (to fund my flying habit).....
1991 C2 90,500 miles
$24,000
I've owned the car for 3 years now and have done the following:
Valve adjustment
Billet valve covers
New Plugs/wires/dist
New Coils
New alternator bearing
Wevo motor mounts (black)
H&R Reds with OEM shocks
993 Brake Master Cylinder and booster Upgrade
Freshly rebuilt 993 NB Calipers included but not installed
Rebuilt Steering Rack
Steering Rack Brace
Chris Walrod Bushings front
New Tie Rods/ball joints
Rotors/pads have 5k street miles
Sumitomo HZR 3 have 5k street miles
Repainted shark fins/rocker panels with new gaskets installed
FVD left rear bumper section for dual exhaust
RUF Splitter
FVD brake ducts
Fabspeed cat bypass and dual exhaust (OEM Cat included)
Fabspeed cup style airbox (OEM included)
Carbon Fiber Strut Brace
FVD 340mm wheel with airbag
New Shift **** (not oem, but nice)
Recaro PP seats in Black Leather with sliders (OEM seats included)
Rennline pedals
Rennline aluminum track mats
New window switches
Aero Mirrors (power)
OEM Cup I's powdercoated
The car came with no records, but obviously was pretty well taken care of. It's a driver, not a concours winner. The previous owner did a pretty poor job of painting the front and rear bumpers and there are some stone chips, etc. IMO, the car is nice and well sorted for a street machine.
That said, there are some things that need to be addressed:
CC Unit and servos (I plugged the Hammer in and got a bunch of codes) Fans and AC work, but driver side vent does not blow heat, only cool. Missing the recirc button cover.
I get an intermittant knock sensor II code. Not sure if it is the connector or the actual sensor, but I haven't tried to fix it yet.
Rear blower fan works, but sometime squeaks.
Bottom of the motor is moist with oil, but no drips on the garage floor even after a couple of months without use.
Glove box does not open without a fight.
Here are some photos; I'm open to discussion and would invite members from my area who have seen the car to chime in.
