I'm inquiring if any 964 owners have the back deck or rear seat delete option platform? I believe my 964 was order without rear seats and I'm looking for a tan platform which replaced the back seats. Wow, these are difficult to come by. Feel free to call me if anyone interested in selling. Cell 913 706-4711. Regards,

Smokey, is there a lip above the glove box doors that keeps stuff from sliding forward? Also, how do you activate the glove box door lock - I installed, but am not sure how to wire up the solenoid to lock the doors - either wire into ignition switch or set up optional activation switch. Need info - thanks

they are really just about impossible to find anymore...I got REALLY lucky....what I was just about resigned into doing was to make a pattern and cut a plywood panel and build one...I think you can still buy the doors and center section and I know you can get the 2 metal brackets that bolt it down to the seatbelt bolt holes....if you know about the pet heres the page you need for the parts from E_STZ_KATALOG page 806-94 shows the entire seat delete I know it won't be the most cost effective option...however if you can't find one....they are really simply built....some photos:
this is not mine however you get the idea:

as you can see they are mostly plywood anyway....maybe you can save yourself some bucks and have pride in a "I built that" sort of way
well gus....I believe (now correct me please if I am wrong) that the seat delete door locks were not installed for the coupe delete due to the fact that you can lock the doors (mine were never installed and the screw holes remain virgin) .... the cabriolet had the locking boxes....as to how to wire them up I had read somewhere that the wiring actually plugs in somewhere under the passengers seat and hooks into the door lock or glove box lock somehow (see photo above....note length of the wiring) to what I have no idea but that info can probably be found in the wiring diagrams?? maybe someone who knows can chime in here?....I had thought at one point to order 2 glovebox locks made to my key and install them as an alternative....... would not be cheap but you would be able to use your key to lock them that way....the locks appear to be exactly the same as far as mounting them and the cylinder size....... also yes there is a pronounced lip there

Smokey -
I have a Cab - so am interested in being able to lock for security -
Thanks for the feed back I will take a look and see what I can find in a wiring diagram - has to be an optional page - I have a canon plug on the back of my"seat delete" that has to marry up with (hopefully) an existing wire line - The wiring from the plug goes to the solenoid that activates the slide rod that locks both door at the same time.
Thanks for the feed back - Gus

What about an outfit like Southbound Trimmers? They have on their website in the Panel section something called the rear parcel shelf. Maybe they can fabricate a custom order for you? No affiliation but I see them mentioned in the magazines, FWIW.

I have a black "rear seat delete" also that Im willing to sell. However these things are big and heavy so shipping would be a factor.
If you're near the northwest corner of the northwest state, come on over and save the shipping
