Well latest update, she's back from being sprayed and is being re assembled as we speak. Looking very shiny

If only I had the cash to recarpet the interior and replace the seats for some pole positions, I digress. Having seen Jack's car on his thread (another cobalt blue one) I saw that he had no model badge on the rear which got me thinking how nice it looked. Thought I would get some thoughts and opinions about de badging the rear of the car before I start sticking stuff onto the fresh bodywork and if anyone else has 'debadged' and has got images.

Was looking at the unique hood badges that were for sale in the parts section. Was toying with the orange one. Not sure if that'd be too much though

Cheers Gary, went to see it in the flesh briefly today and it looks good -got to keep resisting the temptation to lick it, it looks like a giant shiny lollipop. Going to help reassemble it and it should be ready in time for Frank's video shoot hopefully.

I'm swaying towards the debadge to be honest. As you say, Jacks does look v. good

Best thing is you can run it debadged and then you could always add it back on if you feel it looks naked after a while

Ive always thought the 911 badge looks nice on a standard rear , even though its not model correct

the problem I have with all the plastic badges is they grab the polishing cloth and break off at the edges anyway. Paint one on

Quite clearly you haven't seen my painting skills. I have problems as it is with felt tips and going outside the lines

Latest update...was due to pick it up tomorrow but due to a split oil line it's been put back a few days 'til after the weekend. Looking at sourcing some recaros and changing the interior to black with a rear seat delete and also looking and getting rid of those awful rear speakers. Also actively seeking some 18'' multi spoke wheels so might put the original cup wheels up for sale

Deleted the front headlight washer spray and it looks a lot cleaner at the front I think
