Default CCU Codes rear blower

Swapped out my CCU today as old unit was throwing a inside temp sensor code, , replaced unit is showing codes 43 46 and 47 regarding rear blower speed

Is this a CCU problem or perhaps the rear blower relay?

Any help appreciated..

You only have 2 codes.... 43/46 are duplicates

Thanks to both of you, should be able to take care of this one, rear blower cycles on and off when ignition turned on so I will check the resistor, clean contacts on all connections and go from there..

I am now getting 43, 45 and 47 . I replaced the lug connectors at the resistor as they were old and heat fatigued, replaced blower motor (although replacement was a newer 993 unit it could be bad but works quietly) replaced the temperature sensor and cleaned the circuit breaker on the resistor as I was getting inconsistent readings with ohm meter

Havent done anything else, blower no longer cycles on and off like it was doing..in fact when I turn the ignition on with cold engine it does not come on at all

Weather has been in 80s here and I have removed the top and been enjoying the drive...cant spend all my time chasing these recurrent faults...I did notice that the right side does not move as much air as the drivers side so more diagnostics is in order next rainy day

If you turn the heat to the red dot, (or hotter than 27) does it the rear fan kick on? This would be good

Car is at ambient temperature, turn ignition on..no rear blower, turn temp dial to red ..rear blower kicks on...turn temp control to blue...fan goes off

As the Professor says "Good News People"

Thanks Laker..I suspect that I need to replace that resistor..

Got hot today ,oil temp gauge at 10 oclock and rear blower did not come on when motor was shut off...Is this normal?, I have read posts where some have had blower going when car shut off..blower does work when key is in on position..

Did the TEMPERATURE SENSOR in the rear ducting reach 75C?

I will check that next run, Ran scantool and it showed fault 47 rear blower speed 2 and fault 42 oil cooler blower motor

Cleared fault codes and will see whats next
I just replaced rear blower motor (fan was noisy),blower relay resistor and temp sensor, also re did the lug fittings at resistor as they were tired from age/heat..still getting the rear blower speed 2 fault..

This is the first time I have ever had code 42 show up..maybe its time for some work under the right front fender..
