Megasquirt 3.57 without EDIS - 964

hello - have a 91 964 running with MS 3.57 and Ford EDIS with two coil packs.
I see that MS II now supports dual spark, so perhaps the EDIS modules can be eliminated for simplicity and use simply the MS ECU to drive the two coil packs, especially since this is not wasted spark and the dual plugs fire simultaneously.
Anyone done this yet? It could be as simple as piggybacking the two coil packs - most of the dual spark doc is for wasted spark or for retarded fire
(wankel, etc.)
The other advantage is I can use the 60-2 on the flywheel instead of the 36-1 on the crankshaft (the only option for Ford EDIS?) to further simplify the spaghetti and kludge.
It is running now, just want to simplify futher (could have full redunandcy with two ECU's even)

looks like the MS3X daughterboard simplifies it. Alternative is the coil ignitors.
Can go waste spark with no EDIS and COP, but to get sequential ignition the cam sensor is needed.

I am running 2 - coil packs on a VEMS system with Mega Squirt program - have been for several years now - run an Audi sensor set up as it is the same as the 964 - Works great - still playing with fuel and timing - I had to go to a different ECU when I installed the Varioram on my 964, need the extra RPM control for the Vram.
