And then next is the new upholstery for the sport seats and door cards (and maybe rear seats)...in the pics are my original seats which will either be sold or kept for backups to return the car to stock later.

I totally dig what you're doing. I have ordered some sample webbing to do a similar treatment to a set of "RSA" door cards. I want to pimp it up a bit as the black on black on black is well.... black.

Big thumbs up for doing something different. I had planned on using tweed or dogtooth inserts and door panels with my re-trim, but chickened out. Wish I had stuck to my original desire. Post some pictures when you make more progress.

You know what, I like the individuality mods you have chosen to do on your car to personalise how you like it. I have thought about my seats on my other 964 to be fabric centered on my seats and doorcards.
As for the badge, isn't that a rare old type 911 Porsche badge? I remembered having one on my 912.

The badge is a 911 badge stripped, plated and re-cloisonned in new colors by a guy in Germany. He does good stuff. He had a black one recently for sale, which would have been cool, but too much...
As for fabric centers. Fabric is more grippy, so I like it more than full leather seats...
