I need to remove the power steering pump for a rebuild. I've read a partial drop makes the job easier. I have a 90 C4, so the tranny coupling and interior bolts need to be undone.
What needs to me disconnected from the engine??
I was thinking of getting longer bolts for the Wevo mounts that I have that allow a degree of secure drop.
But how far can I go??
Any help is appreciated,
Dan

Unless you are dropping it all the way out, I don't think a partial drop will help get at the PS pump a whole lot easier. You can only go down a few inches, mostly in the back before you start to run into interference with firstly a couple oil lines, and the PS hose. It is a bugger to get to in the car.
