Default question about factory aluminum valve covers

I scored a set of new lower factory aluminum valve covers for $180 on eBay and was wondering if Porsche ever made the uppers in aluminum for the 964. Anyone know for sure? I'd like to ditch the magnesium covers if possible and would prefer to stay with factory parts.

Yep, I think around 1991 or so they changed to aluminum. I got a set from DC Auto.

Anyone have a part number for the aluminum upper valve covers? I looked on pelican and only found the lowers.
