Default A few obc questions

I am in the process of fitting an obc rev counter, so far i have connected the control stalk and the obc rev counter.
The problem i have is that the display stays lit up even after switching off and locking the car. Any ideas what could be causing this?
Also where is the best place to connect the temp sensor into the loom?

The display will stay lit up showing your miles traveled for a while. It is normal.

D'oh! How long does it stay on?

The wiring for the temp sensor is documented here somewhere. User DanzC4 has posted with all the part numbers etc. Do to it right you may want to look into the right Porsche connectors. That way the temp sensor connection is correct etc. The sensor itself goes into the Driver's mirror.

I did this job about 2 years ago, and it works out very well.

I would guess it's the OBC Tach itself...

Long overdue update for anyone with the same problem:

It was a 'failed BS170 transistor in the conducting state.'
Once changed all is perfect.
