Here's another nice C2 for sale: It's advertised as a 1993 car, but it looks to be a 1991 car that was first registered in 1993 from looking at the flags and rear seats:

His first "whats it worth" thread got binned off, most advice was in the 20-25 area, certainly not 32 be funny if it sells for that, good luck to him.

That is TOP money for a private sale and for me let down by the 'bits' that need sorting. At this price it's all in the detail and where a respected Indy I suspect would sell it for similar money the jobs would be done and the buyer has some form of warranty attached for peace of mind.
Looks in nice order though.
Not like there are lots of C2's for sale I suppose

Good luck to the guy. If I was to advertise mine I'd try an optimistic price first too. Prices are all over the place at the minute and there have been a few cars up for ~30k that have sold quickly so why not. Until there is a clean man coupe that hangs round the classifieds then we know prices have topped.
Why are people so obsessed with rebuilds? My car has nearly 90k, doesn't use any oil or leak and has superb oil pressure so why would you rebuild it??

Sorry I was make more of a reference to the price reflecting one ie making it seem expensive.
That said lots seem to look at cars more favorably if they have been rebuilt that's not to suggest yours is in any way inferior of course

No offense taken btw, have just seen this statement quite a few times! Can understand for a prospective buyer how a rebuild might give peace of mind, but IMO if a car is properly maintained, comes with a comprehensive history and clean ppi that must be just as good? Unless the rebuild comes with a decent warranty it makes no odds anyway, as there are rebuilds and there are rebuilds..
