PH has nearly 80 964's for sale. Can't remember when I last saw that many on the market.

However, not that many of the 80 u would want to take home....... especially with the asking prices.

Half of those are "sold, but looking for similar stock" adverts :typing:

Hello, new here, looking for something air-cooled to drive on nice days...
I see this on PH today, about 3hrs drive away:
http://www.pistonheads.com/classifie...--1993/2506061

1. 1993 cars should have all engine revisions, and teardrop mirrors, right? Why are there flag mirrors on this car?
2. How much would I be looking at to refresh/lower the suspension, plus add some Speedline/Fuch/Cup wheels?
3. What is a blue interior like, up close? Tacky?

Looks like a couple of our L964O Rennlisters are selling up...

1989 C4 £22k

You need to check the VIN to see what model year it is. There were a lot of cars built earlier but not registered until later (i.e. they sat around as dealer stock). A true late C2 cab would have 4 pot brakes on the rear, so it's worth checking that too to give you more clues about build year.

How long will this one last? C2 Man, all the right bits and provenance.

How about this back date at 80K?

Oh those bumpers look so wrong on the back date.

GazC2 07-21-2014 07:05 PM

The profile on both the front and rear arches looks all wrong as well ?

I like it but would prefer it with Singer style front/rear bumpers. It's a difficult car to value so not sure of the 'investment potential' as it will always have a limited market.

I agree, something not right about the way it looks!

PaulW_964 07-22-2014 05:29 AM

Yep I agree, I think it's the bumpers letting it down. Otherwise, it looks fantastic in my eyes. In terms of value, as always I guess it's only worth as much as someone is willing to pay
