the pics are those of her before the tune up, valve job etc.... as you can all see, she's running on 17' cup 1s. will post pics of her with the new wheels.. although the garage gym told me shell be a bit high ( 62.5mm front and back) to avoid having to roll the fenders and possibly a paint touch up... meaning no delivery before new years eve...
my bilsteins are supposed to be stock, but they are ride height adjustable, i was strongly advised not to lower the shock to the minimum height as that shortens the life span by quite a bit.. any advise from your experience?
and i know most of you have manual cars... can i install the transmission ECU from a 993 2s on my 964? read the software is much more advanced.
appreciate it
btw regarding the stickers... we just had our 40th year independence celebrations..

Welcome from Bahrain
She is usable as a daily driver. Our summer temps are similar and I drive her all year round. If she struggles change the oil to 20w-50. If you still have problems something is wrong with the cooling system.
I'm sitting in the 964 now waiting to get the yearly renewal done. Then to the Mech in a week or two to have the Bilstain HDs and Eibach Pro kit fitted.
If you're ever un Bahrain drop me a PM and we'll go for a drink.

Welcome and nice color BTW.
I was thinking of having my wheels painted black and after seeing yours it is now on my list.
Great looking car. Good luck with her…

hi all,
i got her back..... the chip, decat and cup pipe along with the valve job did the trick.. what a difference, the upgrade to 18 inches added to the increased tightness i think. the car pulls more uniformly in the low revs then wakes up around 2,7.. 3k rpm...
next:
sport seats OEM... does 1 have to do any alterations to the seat frame to upgrade to sport turbo seats? thx.
Rs door crds and find a way to fit in Bang and Olufsen speakers out of a salvage audi s8, seen them on a convertible carrera 2 here in dubai... expensive but what a touch.
carbon fibre bits here and there...slowly.
at time of engine rebuild ultimately 9m billet cylinder kit, rs cams...
here are the pics of the car after the major service and wheel change. has any heard of the company racing design? exhaust tip is racing design, came with the car and i was looking for a second for the twin exhaust job planned.

i feel she needs to sit a couple of mms lower and a 7mm spacer at the rear should do the trick... what do you guys suggest? appreciate the feedback.
she's currently sitting at 63mm on all four. very comfortable.. but not soft soft.
