Default Changing my suspension

I'm considering changing (lowering and stiffening) my suspension on my 1991 C4 Targa. I believe that I read somewhere that the rear suspension attachment was changed somewhere in the 1991 production. If this is the case, how do I determine which style I have on my car? Any advice would be appreciated. By the way, my car was first sold in Japan so it does not have the North American stickers showing the date of manufacture.

Thanks Joe. Hard to see in my car but it looks like mine resemble the modified version B in the photos. So that means I have the newer version, right?

All 91 cars should have the late type rear suspension, the changover was in August 90 IIRC

Adrian's book (Sorry to sound like a parrot) says cutover was November 1990.
My car has the newer ones. The wording makes it seem like cutover was on Nov 1st.

I think the suspension change was the first week of Nov 1990.

Some time ago we were compairing a Nov 1st 1990 car with the old style mount with my car, a new style mount on my car produced Nov 7th 1990. So somewhere in there Porsche switched.
