I'm looking for the part number for the storage bin pictured that replaces the radio.. I've seen it on several 964 Turbo S cars. I can only find the flat blanking plate in the 964 PET and I don't have the part numbers for the 964 turbo S. Does anyone have an idea?

The 964/993 radio delete plate has tabs on each end that hold it flush with the panel.
On the 996/986 piece the tabs are further back. I'm pretty sure it will fit in the cavity since it's the same size as a single din unit, but holding it there stationary might require some ingenuity.
I would also be cautious about using a storage bin in that particular location. If the car is hit from behind any object that is in the storage compartment has the potential to become a projectile and hit the driver or passenger in the torso or head. In the 996/986 cockpit the storage bin is at an angle and also sits much lower, which is safer IMO.
