Nrb. 964 - Wow! What a Year
I've reached that one milestone we all seek sooner or later...my 964th post here on RL.
Can't remember when I actually joined, perhaps February this year - but I had previously read virtually every thread here, and most of the racing section at least once before I did.
On June the 22d, Claudia arrived here after a makeover in Portland spearheaded by Steve Weiner - on June the 25th, we were on the track. By November 18th we had close to 45 track days under our belts and not one single hiccup...the little car just ate the hard miles with a smile and asked for more.
This is what our cars do!
She is on on her way back, as Gamroth/Weiner will once again wave their magic wands; full on MCS/ERP suspension, a race clutch, diet, cage, seats and a bit of head work. I have started the race license process with PCA and NASA and have earned my National PCA Instructor's Cert.
THANK EACH AND EVERY one of ya'll! The obvious love we share for these cars is plainly evident here, the expertise some have and are willing to share and the experiences others relate are precious. This is indeed a family, and a wonderful place to hang out. I've made lifelong friends, real ones, because of this place and I hold it dear.
The list of names, the souls who populate this joint is far too long to mention; some of us chat privately, and some of ya'll remain with me each time I get in the car...all of you are in my heart and should know that you reside in my right seat every time we turn the key.
Merry Christmas and love from Bugtussle...spring can't come soon enough for most of us and we wish you all the best.

964 posts. Thanks Kai for your many great contributions to this forum.
It's the spirit of guys like you that make this place work and really show off how great these cars are.
One problem...you need to take more pictures and videos! 45 track days this year? Holly cow that's ripping it up on the track.
We need more pictures and videos of the fun! Claudia is beautiful by the way, don't be afraid to show her off.
How about some 9Meister-type shots from the shop while she's in for her upgrades! (new content for Steve's website...)
Also, BIG congrats on becoming a National PCA Instructor!
