Has anyone seen/tried/bought these wheels ? really like the Kersher fuchs but they cost like a zillion euro`s to pay over 2K for wheels is bonkers to me.
I can attest to the quality and weight of the Zuffenhaus wheels. I live about 20 minutes from Eurowerks/Zuffenhaus, and I've seen these up close and personal. They are TOP NOTCH, and I will have a set on my next backdate project, no question! Keith and Aaron who run the shop are two of the coolest and most knowledgeable Porsche guys I know. Eurowerks has worked on all 16 of my P-Cars over the years, and I wouldn't let anyone else in the area touch my aircooled's.
Keith's ID on Pelican is "EimKeith" if you want to do a search on some of his threads/posts, and if you're interested, I'd highly recommend giving them a call.
When my list of mods is done these are next on my wish list... I think they are as period correct as you are going to get in 17" with keeping the right profile & look.... Very nice wheel, yes there a few £££ but there spot on, light & 100%....perfik in my view.

Thanks for all the comments guys , I have followed the threads on the Zuffenhaus wheels over the last couple of years and ( other than the lead times) they seem to be the business again in mega money territory, similarly the image wheels get good reviews but again £400 + each also have a nice rs speedline rep in 17"
I appreciate quality comes with a premium price but I look at the price of wheels and personally find them mindboggling at times, is it just me ?
JMHO, but there is a big element of "you get what you pay for " in the wheel biz.
Cheap wheels are usually quite heavy and the very last thing someone needs is more unsprung weight, due to its negative effects on ride quality, handling, acceleration and braking. Even the original RS Speedlines are very heavy and one can truly feel this after fitting a lighter wheel.
I've found that $500/wheel is nominal to get anything good and IMHO, the Zuffenhaus forged Fuchs replica's are very well made and quite light for their size.
I have the prototype wheel here that we did for the Zuff wheels. They are light and strong and tested at an independant lab. More expensive than other wheels, yes, but less than some. But the detail we built into the wheel requires extremely long machine times and that costs $$$. They take about 5 times as long to machine a center than making a center for other common three piece wheels.
