Default 17 inch wheel question

This chart shows factory wheel offsets: http://members.rennlist.com/1976c38/index.html

I have a set of 7.5" ET52 fronts, 9" ET47 rears. Based on this chart, 7" ET55 and 9" ET55 fit. However if I used these wheels, the fronts poke out 9mm and lose 3mm inner clearance and the rears poke out 8mm with not inner clearance loss.

Is this too much poke to look good?

Appearance is a personal matter but the wheels you have will fit
compared to stock 7ET55 the fronts are 9.35mm closer to the lip and 3.35mm closer to the suspension but compared to Cup/RS 8ET52 there is 6.35mm more room on both sides

in back compared to stock 9ET55 yours are 8mm closer to the lip and 9mm further from the suspension but compared to Cup 9.5ET47 yours have 6.35mm more room on both sides

In summary yours will look somewhere between stock 7 & 9 and Cup 8 & 9.5
