hello all, probably the most ridiculous question, but.....
first I know nothing about 964, purchased mine a few months back. Was running and starting fine. Just took a long ride yesterday with no issues. Well, today I am out to start it and nothing. All electrics, gauges, etc work, all buzzing, clicking, etc, but no starter. Just dead. Tried several times clutch in/out no help. What gives? What could it be besides the obvious, battery? Thanks

If no clicking of the starter solenoid is heard when you turn the key, I would suspect the starter is not getting power. There is a ground strap from the starter to the chassis that is exposed and often corrodes. That's my guess.
