Default 997 Big reds fit behind RH 18" Speedlines and 964?

Any opinions on whether these will fit behind RH 18" speedline reps and mate properly with 964?

You're going to have a hard time finding adapters for the front and the rear will be next to impossible. I'm not sure the brake lines are the same either.

Most people go with 993TT/928 S4/965 calipers with adapters and 965 discs in the front and 993 (non-turbo) rear calipers and 964 (as well as 964 RS or 944 turbo) discs. That's a pretty much plug-n-play set up for 964 cars.

How much more (than stock) does that set up weigh? Is there a negligible weight gain with the larger disk/caliper combo?

The front brakes weigh a lot more. Calipers are bigger and so are the discs. It adds a lot of unsprung weight. I would recommend this upgrade for someone who tracks the car a lot and experiences brake fade.

The rears are practically the same weight, only difference is the pistons on the 993 rear calipers are larger.
