rear spoiler question
Last week my rear spoiler started acting funny, mainly not lowering, I probably will have to buy a new motor or module (donīt know yet as the car is being checked by my mechanic)
My question relates to the fact that, if I buy the needed parts from EEUU (as I usually do) the delay to have them here will be 2 weeks or maybe more so I wonīt have them installed for november 17th, the date of our annual Porsche Festival.
I suppose I can leave the spoiler up for that meeting but Iīm afraid I wonīt be able to wash the car till I have this issue solved (fear of car soap entering the engine compartment)
What do you think.... is it possible to wash the car with the spoiler up?

Don't worry about getting the engine wet, it's unavoidable given the engine grill design.

Thanks my friends!
Itīs the soap what worries me, I have driven under heavy rain at relatively high speed with the spoiler up and I am aware the car is made for that
