90 C2 spoiler/speedo probs!!
Hi guys/girls
I've got a 1990 C2 and the speedo only starts working after driving for 15/20 mins(new&old speedo) the spoiler did work when it wanted too but now its given up so far I have...
new speedo
Re solder dry joints on back of clock
Check plugs under seat
Which do you think is next on the check list??
Sensor on gearbox?
Abs relay in front trunk/boot

Yes, I replaced the speed sensor and another relay first but it was the abs relay.
Do a search for "1993 911 speedo stops working" alot of usefull information on this thread about your problem.

I had the similar problem but I found speedo would occasionally stop working. The speedo and rear fin are linked as you know. On my 1990 C2, there is the Pulse Sender on the back of the speedo or tachometer (can't remember which) part no 964 606 210 01. Replacing that has solved it.

Fitted a new pulse sensor and speedo now works but still no spoiler so will keep looking... So if you have a early 964 and it runs off the side of the gearbox not off the front hub like a later 964 might be with a check!!...
