I've got a 1990 C2 and the speedo only starts working after driving for 15/20 mins(new&old speedo) the spoiler did work when it wanted too but now its given up so far I have...

Which do you think is next on the check list??

Abs relay in front trunk/boot
part number 928 615 124 01 and is located in the front fuse box. Relay #34 I believe
That was my issue.
Alot of posts on here with the same problem.

Yes, I replaced the speed sensor and another relay first but it was the abs relay.
Do a search for "1993 911 speedo stops working" alot of usefull information on this thread about your problem.

I had the same issue. The relay didn't just "go" but gradually gave out to where there was finally nothing. A hundred bucks or so and about five minutes and it was all squared away.

I had the similar problem but I found speedo would occasionally stop working. The speedo and rear fin are linked as you know. On my 1990 C2, there is the Pulse Sender on the back of the speedo or tachometer (can't remember which) part no 964 606 210 01. Replacing that has solved it.

It's not the abs relay.... Boo!!

I'm moving on to the pulse sensor next...keep you updated.....

I have my old pulse sensor and pulse sensor relay. I am sure they are good becouse they didnt fix my problem. I could send them to you to try as they are pretty expensive.

Fitted a new pulse sensor and speedo now works but still no spoiler so will keep looking... So if you have a early 964 and it runs off the side of the gearbox not off the front hub like a later 964 might be with a check!!...
